A School Advisory Council (SAC) in the School District of Philadelphia is a peer-elected, collaborative team composed of parents, staff, students (grades 7-12), and community members. They work to improve student achievement, school climate, and community engagement by providing input on school planning and implementing the School Improvement Plan (SIP).
